Kathakali a major form of classical dance originated from Kerala. It is one of the oldest theatre forms in the world known for storytelling and expressing various emotions through language of gestures especially eyes to narrate tales and epics. Another prominent aspect of Kathakali is the elaborate make up code and use of distinct colors to distinguish characters like green for virtuous.
Few pictures taken during visit to Thekkady Kalari centre, Kerala.

Teriffic photographs. My attempts at https://wp.me/p6t41V-3hF look rather weak by comparison, but it was an evening I shan’t soon forget.
You seem to had an excellent Kerala trip. In the end, it is the experience and memories which matters.
Thanks. Now looking forward to our ‘Golden Triangle’ trip after Christmas.
Super. Which all places you intend to visit?
We will be with Tree Trunk Travel again (they were so good on or Kerala trip). The itinerary provides sightseeing trips in Old and New Delhi, then Jaipur, Ftehpur Sikri and Agra (incl. Taj Mahal at sunrise). It’s a shorter trip than Kerala, but packs a lot in.
Sounds great. If you have not been to Khajuraho, please try to cover that as well. It is overnight journey from Agra. It is one of the best places to visit after Taj. Another historical place near Khajuraho is Orcha if your schedule permits
Thanks. I shall keep these in mind. We have a car and driver for the period, and a history of varying the itinerary!
All the best
