Kathakali a major form of classical dance originated from Kerala. It is one of the oldest theatre forms in the world known for storytelling and expressing various emotions through language of gestures especially eyes to narrate tales and epics. Another prominent aspect of Kathakali is the elaborate make up code and use of distinct colors to distinguish characters like green for virtuous.

We will be with Tree Trunk Travel again (they were so good on or Kerala trip). The itinerary provides sightseeing trips in Old and New Delhi, then Jaipur, Ftehpur Sikri and Agra (incl. Taj Mahal at sunrise). It’s a shorter trip than Kerala, but packs a lot in.
Sounds great. If you have not been to Khajuraho, please try to cover that as well. It is overnight journey from Agra. It is one of the best places to visit after Taj. Another historical place near Khajuraho is Orcha if your schedule permits
