I brought children into this dark world because it needed the light that only a child can bring.

Taking photograph of a toddler is perhaps most challenging task because they are always on the move and most unpredictable. I think one good way to photograph them is when they are doing something which they enjoy most or to take them to a place where they can have fun. Photograph taken with 50 mm Nikon lens (F stop – f/1.8, Exposure – 1/80 sec).

I would love to hear your thoughts / experiences.

  1. I work with babies and toddlers. They are the epitome of action so slowing down for a pose would be a challenge. Eye contact, facial expressions and interactive play with them is key. Looks like that’s the result with your photograph. Awesome. πŸ™‚

  2. Ah, I sometimes get the opportunity to photograph friends’ toddlers….and best to wait until they are engrossed in some activity, and then it’s natural shots, no posing!
