For a better tomorrow

DSC_0148

Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow.
– A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

I feel pained to see so many childrens deprived of their basic needs like proper food, education and health. They are the future and deserve a better environment for their future. By ignoring them, we are ignoring our future.

Climb the mountains

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.

Photographing toddlers

DSC_1071

I brought children into this dark world because it needed the light that only a child can bring.
~Liz Armbruster

Taking photograph of a toddler is perhaps most challenging task because they are always on the move and most unpredictable. I think one good way to photograph them is when they are doing something which they enjoy most or to take them to a place where they can have fun. Photograph taken with 50 mm Nikon lens (F stop – f/1.8, Exposure – 1/80 sec).

I would love to hear your thoughts / experiences.

The law of harvest

DSC_0985

The law of harvest is to reap more than you sow.
Sow an act, and you reap a habit.
Sow a habit and you reap a character.
Sow a character and you reap a destiny.

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy.
Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.
