“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything”.
– Aaron Siskind
The photograph shows daily chores in the life of common people. The elder sister is combing the hair of her younger sister in the morning. Seems very normal routine. But, it is the normal routine things which bonds the family.
Instead of focusing only on the sisters, I wanted to capture the small hut in the background with pot, utensils and make shift plastic bucket to give real feel of the picture.
It seems like once you start taking pictues you walk through life seeing things through a lens. Lovely photo.
Thank you Kathy! I guess once you get into photography, it is natural that one start seeing things a bit differently 🙂
Reblogged this on Photos That Inspire Words.
Nice quote which I hadn’t heard before. Wonderful photo too.
